The ambition of Dóra Fónagy is to see the role of the designer expanded to the most strategic function possible. Her work is informed by studying the quickly shifting realities of everyday life, along with an unfaltering desire to communicate the transformative power of good design. Her namesake studio employs a holistic approach to design, combining design thinking with a rigorous analysis of business opportunites and a keen sensibility towards the arts. To this end, Dóra’s design team includes professionals from many different fields of knowledge. This method of shifting borders between architecture, design, business and art leads to a unique understanding of culture, human needs and technology which shapes every project the studio is involved in.
